yes, i admit it was done to show off NoKor what Uncle Sam's got up his sleeve in case the Pyongyang godhead decides to launch warheads at the US mainland.

but it is also a followup statement to China's recent successful obliteration of its own satellite by a ground-based missile; proudly Made in China.

Return of the DRAGON: why there are enough reasons to be afraid of China

Recently showcasing its capability to pulverize a satellite out of orbit, China actually surprised and alarmed many with this particular test; as earlier attempts failed miserably. China hoodwinked everybody, hiding under the blanket issues of Iran and North Korea and their nuclear program/weapons respectively as well as scorching hot Iraq.

Let me enumerate some things that China has been up to that have not been microscopically attended to by most people:

  • Troops in Africa guarding oil wells; earning respect and spreading influence among African nations in need of economic assistance.
  • Increased Arms spending, with emphasis on technology (an effort to catch up with the West).
  • Highlighted UN grandstanding, to mention being overtly active in the world council discussion with regards to Iran and North Korea.
  • Arm sales to countries under the "rogue" or "have capacity to be rogue" categories.
  • All quiet in the Taiwanese front (for now).
  • Economic partnerships with erstwhile rival India, next door neighbor Southeast Asia.
  • Minor issue that i got from the strangest of places, a nursing home... CHINA DOES NOT ALLOW MALE BABIES TO BE ADOPTED (are they saving up the males for something???).
  • And one more thing... THE OLYMPICS! more to come...
