Admiral's opinion

a US admiral recently met with Chinese counterparts and stated that China's recent space missile destruction of an old satellite sends confusing signs.

boy, it really did. and it came as a surprise to everybody.

now the US is considering conducting training with the Chinese military which is fast catching up (and by the way, they have the most number of troops in the world right now) to them... hmm... either to size up a future foe's capabilities or to rehearse a future war?

God forbid.

and China has 1 trillion dollars extra on its pocket... i think it can already buy a small country, wage war for a year, or invade its renegade province.

we're watching... we can't wait for what's coming next. if Iran enters the scene, the more it will benefit the Dragon's ambitions.

45 billion just for training? are you high?

45 billion dollars or 17.5 % increase in military spending.. take note, for training!

are you high? are you going to train 2.5 million troops in a program similar to what Navy SEALS, Rangers or Delta Force go through in order to have a military that can deal with any air, land or sea threat in the world or against you?

oh boy...The Dragon is really hell bent on replacing the current world's policeman.

45 billion dollars against a paltry 400+ million for Taiwan's updated missile systems... do the math for me please.

China to US: Stop Missile Sale to ROC

a case of the pot calling the kettle "super" black... China demanding cessation of US missile sales to Taiwan... you got artillery and missile batteries directed at Taiwan from a nearby isle; come on give them some breathing space. Besides, you got important parts illegally obtained at the Arms Black Market (Maverick guidance systems) courtesy of lousy Pentagon arms sales procedures so why not allow Taiwan to legally have them? They can afford it anyway.

awaiting next move on the chessboard...
